Some weddings don’t just happen in a place, they nuzzle themselves into your memory and refuse to leave. Avery and Josh’s wedding in Fayetteville, Arkansas was exactly that kind of day.

It was one of those perfect November days where the air feels crisp but kind, and the light seems to know it’s been invited to something special. Fayetteville showed off in the best way possible, gifting us a sunset so bold and glowing it felt like it knew this was a celebration worth lingering for. The sky melted into layers of warm color, wrapping the entire day in a quiet magic that made everything feel unrushed and deeply present. From the very beginning, the tone was laid back, joyful, and effortlessly fun. Avery and Josh created a day that felt true to them, intentional without being stiff, emotional without being overwhelming. Every detail was thoughtfully personalized, from Avery’s makeup bag handmaid with meaning to Josh’s shoes that quietly told their own story. Nothing felt forced. Everything felt chosen. It was the kind of wedding where details didn’t shout they whispered, and those are always my favorite.

A huge part of what made the day so seamless was the incredible team of vendors who came together like old friends, each one bringing their talent and heart to the table. Add in family and friends who traveled from near and far to be there, and the whole celebration felt beautifully supported, like this couple was truly surrounded, held, and celebrated from every angle. You could feel it in the laughter, in the hugs that lingered a second longer, in the way the day unfolded so naturally.

This wedding also happened to be my very last one of 2025 and honestly, I still think about it. It was the kind of finale any creative hopes for. One of those rare days that makes you pause and think, I wish every wedding felt like this. Not because it was over-the-top but because it was grounded, stylish, and deeply human. The kind of day where fashion, emotion, and connection all move in rhythm. As I look ahead, I can’t help but feel that familiar spark of excitement building again. Next month, wedding season officially kicks off, and I am genuinely thrilled by the incredible celebrations coming my way. I have so many cool weddings on the calendar, an exciting upcoming project with AW Bridal, and a year full of travel that I’m already dreaming about. New places, new stories, new love...there’s nothing better.

And with all of that on the horizon, I’m still booking 2026 + 2027 weddings. If Avery and Josh’s day reminded me of anything, it’s why I do this work in the first place: to witness love up close, to preserve fleeting moments, and to tell stories that deserve to be remembered exactly as they felt.
